How to Edit Your Template in Canva
Step 1: Open Your Template
- Click the Canva link in your download file.
- Log in or sign up for a free Canva account.
- Click “Use Template” to open your copy.
Step 2: Customize the Design
- Click on any text box to change the wording.
- Use the top toolbar to edit:
✏️ Fonts
🎨 Colors
🔡 Text Size
🔁 Alignment
Note: Some graphics and layout elements may be locked to keep the design consistent. If needed, unlock them by clicking the 🔒 icon.
Step 3: Save & Download
- Click “Share” → “Download”
- Choose your file type:
- PDF for printing
- PNG or JPG for digital use
You can print at home or use an online/local print shop.
How to Upload Images into Your Photo Collage on Canva
01. Open the Canva Template Link
- Click on the link provided to open the Canva photo collage template.
- If you don’t have a Canva account, you’ll need to sign up for a free account (it’s free and quick!).
02. Access the Uploads Section
- On the left-hand panel of the Canva editor, find and click the “Uploads” tab.
- This is where you can upload your photos.
03. Upload Your Images
- Click the “Upload files” button.
- Select the photos you want to use from your device.
- Your uploaded photos will appear in the “Uploads” section.
04. Drag and Drop Images into the Collage
- Click on an image from the “Uploads” section.
- Drag the image into the frame where you want it to go.
- Release the mouse button to place the image — it will automatically adjust to fit!
05. Adjust the Image Position
- Double-click on the image inside the frame to adjust it.
- Drag to reposition the photo or zoom in/out.
- Click outside the frame to save your changes.
06. Replace Images
- To change a photo, simply drag a new one from your “Uploads” section into the same frame.
- The new image will automatically replace the old one.
07. Download Your Completed Collage
- When you’re happy with your collage, click the “Share” button at the top right.
- Select “Download”, choose your preferred format (PNG, JPG, or PDF), and click “Download”.
