5-Things-IconI woke up to a beautiful morning in Nashville today – the sun is out, and there is a hint of spring in the air. There is snow in the forecast tomorrow, so I plan to get outdoors and soak up all the sunshine I possibly can today. First, though, here are a few of the things that are inspiring me this week:

My husband is such a romantic, while I tend to be a bit more… resistant? It’s not easy to sweep me off my feet, but I do love that we dedicate a holiday to celebrating the relationships in our lives that bring us love and joy. My mom has always made a big deal out of Valentine’s Day, and that is probably a big reason why it means so much to me as an adult.

I love supporting Etsy sellers when I can, but I’m also a big fan of doing those things that I can at home that are actually cool. I don’t know about you, but many times when I try the DIY route, it just doesn’t turn out.When I find a DIY resource and it works… well, that’s just magic.
