Today I am celebrating the first anniversary of Creative Perch! Last week I posted about the anniversary giveaway of Ignore Everybody by Hugh McLeod and asked participants to share the best creative business advice they have received. I was absolutely thrilled by the responses, and I love that we can learn from each other’s life lessons. In case you haven’t read the comments on that post, I thought I’d share them here:
The best piece of advice I have ever received was “break your goal into do-able, small tasks”. I am one of those people who see the big picture and then get completely overwhelmed by it and shut down.
I can do one small thing to step towards my goal, I can’t complete or even fathom my goal in one giant leap.
