It’s Day Two of World Creativity and Innovation Week. What are you doing to celebrate?
46 Countries and 106 Communities
The celebration of WCIW has spread across 46countries and 106 communities.
- In Ontario a school wrote and produced a musical featuring the seven principles of Leonardo da Vinci.
- In Argentina a group of schools allowed the students to use the Internet to create collaborative art.
- The United Nations sent “Creativity Day” emails to all its employees in Training and Development
Just One Rule
The guidelines for participation are simple:
“Do what you can, do what you like. There’s only one rule: do no harm.”
Here are a ideas to get you going:
- Join or consider starting a community art group
- Attend or participate in a local theatre or musical production
- Help start a community garden
- Go photo treasure hunting and post your findings on Flickr
- Engage in guerilla art. Start with these Top 10 Guerilla Art Blogs
- Celebrate Earth Day and WCIW and engage in reverse grafitti
