Flickr Fridays, Moving Day Edition
Over the next two days, my husband Chris and I will be packing up our moving truck, loading up our two dogs, and making the (relatively short) trek to Nashville, Tennessee. We successfully rented out our house in Arkansas, and we’ve signed a six month lease for an apartment near Vanderbilt.
We have no idea what lies ahead.
Flickr Fridays, Holiday Lights Edition
I was so enchanted by my friend Keli’s photography holiday bokeh how-to post last week, so I’ve dug up a few more beautiful images from the Flickr community. Check out these amazing images from talented photographers:

Flickr Fridays, Progress Edition
In the spirit of supporting artists worldwide who are working on making progress this month – be it for Roid Week early this month, National Novel Writing Month, or Art Every Day Month – I thought I’d share a few abstract and inspirational images from members of the Flickr community. Here’s to progress!
Flickr Fridays, Guerrilla Art Edition
I still love finding new installations of guerrilla art. These images are from just a few of the bold artists on Flickr who are sending art out into the world.

Flickr Fridays, Roid Week Self Portrait Edition
I have really enjoyed participating in Roid Week this fall (with a caveat… have photos, have broken scanner, will upload later). I enjoy browsing the galleries on Flickr and being inspired *almost* as much as I enjoy actually taking pictures.
Many photographers are ending the week with a self-portrait. Aren’t these lovely?

Flickr Fridays, Wild Things Edition
I am so excited to see Where the Wild Things Are with Chris tonight. Can you believe he’s never read the book? Don’t worry – I’m working to remedy the situation.

I love the detail in this figurine (part of a library display), and the way the photographer captured it as a character is just lovely.
