Etsy How-To
The other day Kathleen over at Twig and Thistle mentioned a DIY pillow project she found on Etsy, so I jumped on over and discovered an incredible resource in Etsy’s How-To section.

There are so many great resources, but this week I thought I’d (re-)share a special post from Pikaland’s Amy Ng. She’s shares her top nine tips to being more creative. My favorite is keeping different sketchbooks for different aspects of her creative life. What’s your favorite tip?
Dolls, Birds, and Wood-Burned Design
There is so much inspiriation to be found on Etsy. Here are a few of my favorites this week.
The Black Apple
I love these prints by The Black Apple. The dolls are so simple and endearing, and the detail really draws you in. This one is called the True Love print. You can view and order it here, or view the artist’s blog here.
Lacuna Work
This wood-burned journal by Lacuna Work is so detailed and would make such a unique gift. They also customize them for wedding parties and other special occasions. View and print the Nuno Notebook here, or visit the artist’s blog here.
Byrdie Graphics
I love this couch! If you take a closer look, it appears to be made from an antique bathtub, finished in green paint, with the lovely bird on a branch graphic added as a final touch. So many ideas filled my head when I saw this piece of art. You can view the graphic by Byrdie Graphics here.
