Welcome to Creative Perch! I’m glad you’re here.

My name is Dee Wilcox. I started Creative Perch in 2008 as a blog designed to inspire creativity and encourage innovation. I believe that creativity that leads to innovation is powerful; therefore, I aim towards innovation. I also support and promote art in the news, public art in the community, and the public application of creativity to develop answers to the world’s deepest challenges. I hope you enjoy the time you spend reading my blog and that it inspires and encourages you to step out onto the creative wild side and become the innovator that the world needs you to be. I’m a writer, a graphic designer, and a website developer by trade. In January 2011 I filed the necessary paperwork to make Creative Perch “official” – and this site is the “new” home of my website design and development business. My professional credentials include a Bachelor of Science Degree from Regent University in Organizational Leadership and Management and eight years of experience in the world of graphics, marketing, and website development. I specialize in working with small businesses, churches, and freelancers.
