I have been craving salted caramels for the last few days and finally *successfully* made a batch today after two failed attempts. For months we admired them and wondered what to do with them. Chris had wanted to create a huge canvas painting for our living room for months, but we had never done it before, and we had no idea how to fill such a huge piece of blank canvas. When it comes to strategically growing an organization or an idea, many times we feel like we have a good, general idea of where things are out – how productive we are, or how profitable, or how successful. But to develop an effective strategic plan, you need more specific data. You need to know where your strengths are, where your opportunities are, and where your weaknesses and threats are.
