“Art is everywhere. It finds its origin in everything and ultimately reflects the beauty of the Creator.” – Chris Wilcox, Chris Paul Design, LLC
Andy Warhol is an icon in the art world, and he’s making headlines again. The New York Book Review recently released a review of what defines an Andy Warhol piece of art. The Warhol Museum also has a spiffy new exhibition going at the Montreal Museum of Art:
Warhol Live: Music and Dance in Andy Warhol’s Work
June 14 – September 27, 2009Warhol Live, an exhibition that examines Warhol’s work through the lens of music and the performing arts, features over 640 works and objects including paintings, silkscreens, photographs, works on paper, illustrations, films, videos, album covers, and ephemera from Warhol’s personal archives.
Don’t you wish you could go? I do. I really enjoyed the 15 Minutes of Fame Warhol Exhibit the Arkansas Arts Center hosted last year. Have you attended a Warhol exhibit? What is your favorite piece?
