Flickr Fridays, Road Trip Edition
Chris and I are heading out early this morning for a jam-packed road trip with is brothers. Today we head to Nashville to pick up Matt, then on to Indiana to stay with the cousins. David will meet us in South Bend. Then tomorrow, five or six of us are piling into our vehicles and heading out to Ann Arbor, Michigan, to tailgate and cheer on the Fighting Irish. It will be my first ND game actually in the stadium, so I am really excited!
And scared – because Michigan and Notre Dame are arch rivals. Ah, well, that’s football for you.
Then, Sunday morning, four of us will head to Chicago to watch U2 at Soldier Field. This is maybe my favorite part of the trip. I am so, so excited.
Then, home on Monday (via Nashville, to drop off Matt).
In honor of all that craziness, here are a few fantastic road trip pictures for you. Anyone else going traveling this fall?
I love this scan of an old family photo vacation. The colors are beautiful!
The photographer said this was taken with a circular polarizing filter. (Note to self for my next photo trip with Chris.)
Another month or so, and this is what we’ll be seeing. Can’t wait!
