“Art is everywhere. It finds its origin in everything and ultimately reflects the beauty of the Creator.” – Chris Wilcox, Chris Paul Design, LLC
I’ve been drooling over vintage typewriters lately, and I totally blame it on Janine Vangool at Uppercase in Calgary. She’s always posting such lovely images on her blog and in her Flickr photostream of her collection. Ah, my, I could spend hours browsing.
As a writer I’ve always been a fan of vintage, classic literature – and therefore of vintage writing instruments. However, I didn’t realize until recently that there was an entire community of typewriter collectors out there. In the last few months I’ve purchased two – a grey and cream Royal III to keep and a blue Charger 11 for my Etsy shop.
I’m simply out of space for all my collections, but I found new inspiration today over at Poetic Home. Hanging typewriters on the wall?! Oh, yes!
