Thanks to Dianne Poinski for this award!
In following Dianne’s example, here are seven things about me that you may or may not know. So, here we go!
- I am a fraternal twin. My mom never dressed my sister and I the same and always emphasized our uniqueness.
- I played the baritone in high school (because I wanted to prove to the guys that I could). And I was good! There is a glass ceiling… even in band.
- I’ve only been a gardener for about a year. It’s an excellent stress reliever!
- I am terrible at exercise. My husband, on the other hand, is the epitome of discipline in this area.
- My first creative “sting” happened in the second grade. We were painting watercolor landscapes, and I glued cotton balls to mine to indicate clouds. My classmates loved the idea and started doing the same thing, but I didn’t like that everyone was using my idea. It’s interesting that as an adult, getting people to buy into your idea is a chief business pursuit. Although… it’s still uncool to copy it (and take credit).
- In high school I wore hemp sandals that look a lot like the popular Tom’s brand. Everyone thought they were so cool, and I loved that I only paid $2 for them.
- I’m a mountain girl, and my husband is a beach man. And yet somehow, we make it work.
So! Here area few people to whom I would like to pass this award. I hope you enjoy reading their blogs and getting to know them better!
- Elsie Flanagan (A Beautiful Mess).
- Liz Massey (Creative Liberty).
- Sabine (La Marquise des anges).
- Keli Hoskins (Twelve Paws).
- Rachel Denbow. (Smile and Wave.)
