Art is everywhere, but it’s best when it’s local.
Against the conventional wisdom that print publications are on their way out, The Localist is published by a group of local artists based in Little Rock, Arkansas. The publication includes essays and full-page portfolio spreads; its goal is to increase local awareness about art, municipal applications, the portfolios of local artists, and ideas about culture.
